EXPLORE MOOLOOLABA

Mooloolaba is approximately 100kms north of Brisbane . The Bruce Highway , the main road north provides direct access to Mooloolaba. All major interstate coach lines service the area, with the local sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore providing direct daily flights from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Mooloolaba has recently experienced phenomenal growth along The Esplanade becoming the real jewel in the crown of the Sunshine Coast causing an influx of interstate and overseas vistors.
But while Mooloolaba is a thriving and bustling tourist resort centre with a unique cosmopolitan atmosphere it still retains its family orientation.

The rich rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland beckon. The subtropical countryside coupled with impressive old goldfields architecture make for memorable scenic drives.

To the west, perched atop the Blackall Range, quaint villages such as Montville and Maleny, offer interesting shopping and dining experiences. The road linking the 4 four villages clinging to the escarpment offers breathtaking views of  the coast and the spectacular Glass House Mountains.

Places like Palmwoods, Buderim, Yandina, Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona and Kin Kin have made the most of their natural assets, adding markets, coffee shops, craft galleries and other drawcards to their traditional attractions and are well worth visiting.

A little further north, Gympie was born when James Nash struck gold more than 130 years ago. Today, you can still try your luck panning for gold, visit the Historical Mining Museum or see woodworks demonstrations. The Mary Valley Heritage Railway with its Valley Rattler steam train celebrates the town's past. All within an easy drive from Mooloolaba Holiday Apartments.

Sunshine Coast Golf Clubs

There are many golf courses within an hours drive of Mooloolaba.

Pelican Waters
Pelican Waters, which opened in 2000, has already established a reputation as one of Australia’s finest resort golf courses. Golf Australia magazine rated the course as the 10th best resort course in Australia, not bad for a course less than a year old. In time I’m certain this Greg Norman design will be considered one of the very best tracks anywhere in Australia as it features a collection of sensational golf holes, situated in a stunning natural Australian setting at Golden Beach near Caloundra. The course is gently undulating and runs alongside numerous lakes with natural swampland reeds adding to the character of the numerous water holes.

Hyatt Regency Coolum
The golf course at the Hyatt Regency Coolum was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, and represents one of his most subtle designs. The golf course at the Hyatt Regency Coolum was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, and represents one of his most subtle designs. Unlike other Trent Jones courses you wont find any of the huge undulation or the trademark double and triple tiered greens. The course is a subtle challenge rather than an intimidating brute. Indeed the designer himself described the course at Coolum in a similar vain "This course is not designed to punish champions, just to find out who they are"
